Built around completed work: create the invoice, collect payment, and send the receipt. No estimating workflow to manage.
PlumbPaid is designed for solo owner-operators and small residential service teams of up to five people who complete repair calls and want a focused way to invoice and collect payment in the field.
For the plumber handling the repair, the customer, the invoice, and the payment without an office person waiting to finish the paperwork.
For owners who assign service calls, keep company invoices together, control who can collect payment, and optionally see who is closest to a new job.
Best suited to work that is already approved and completed, such as leak repairs, drain calls, fixture replacements, and other residential service jobs.
Generic invoice apps are built for every kind of business. Larger field-service platforms can include estimating, marketing, accounting, inventory, and office tools a small plumbing company may not need. PlumbPaid stays focused on the last few minutes of a completed plumbing job.
PlumbPaid is for invoicing and collecting payment after the work is complete. It should not be used to create estimates, quotes, or bids. Just finish the job, invoice the customer, get paid, and let PlumbPaid send the receipt.
PlumbPaid gives sole plumbers and small plumbing firms a focused workflow without office software getting in the way.
Keep customer contact details and job addresses ready for the next callout.
Add line items, job notes, the service address, and before-and-after photographs, then collect payment without slowing down the job.
Send a polished PDF invoice featuring your own plumbing business letterhead.
Once payment settles, PlumbPaid automatically sends the customer a receipt—whatever payment method they used.
Export every invoice to CSV whenever you need the data for your records or accountant.
Print a summary sheet of all invoices and keep the business side easy to review.
Continue entering your work when the signal drops in basements, attics, and underground spaces. PlumbPaid synchronizes that work when the connection returns. Electronic payments through Stripe are completed when connectivity is available.
For crews of up to five, the Small Team plan keeps one invoice record and one connected Stripe account for the company, even when a coworker collects the payment, and lets the owner book jobs and see who is nearest.
Each plumber sees their own or assigned invoices. In Settings, under Who can collect payments, only a company owner can let a named coworker collect payments on the unpaid invoices of one specific plumber.
With this grant, Maria can collect on Joe’s unpaid invoices using the company’s Stripe account. She does not gain access to other plumbers’ invoices. The owner can remove the permission at any time.
Invoices also retain applicable notes and before-and-after photos. Draft invoices show Draft; finalized unpaid invoices show Unpaid. Payment Collected by appears on a particular invoice only after someone collects or records its payment.
Jobs and optional route visibility. When a customer calls with a plumbing problem, the company owner can see which available plumber is closest to the job address and assign the call more efficiently. The assigned plumber can tap On my way to calculate an arrival time and prepare a text for the customer, followed by Arrived and Finished. When the work is done, Create invoice starts from the job’s address and notes, and the owner sees any finished job not yet invoiced. Route visibility is entirely optional: the owner enables the feature, and each plumber decides whether to share their location by starting a shift. Location sharing stops when the shift ends, the route is deleted, and plumbers can still receive jobs and use PlumbPaid normally without sharing their location.
Card payments are processed by Stripe and settle into the plumbing business’s connected Stripe account. PlumbPaid does not hold customer funds or store full credit card details.
Card payments carry Stripe’s processing fee plus the PlumbPaid platform fee: 0.5% of each card payment. It covers taking card payments through PlumbPaid: Tap to Pay on your phone, payment links, invoices marked paid automatically, double-charge protection, receipts and refund tracking. Cash and check have no fee, and a refund returns it. See the fees for plumbers.

Answers to the questions plumbers ask before using PlumbPaid on a job.
PlumbPaid is a job-closeout, invoicing, and payment app for sole plumbers and small plumbing firms. On the Small Team plan, the owner can also book jobs and give them to a plumber. It is not an estimating, bidding, accounting, or full business-management platform.
Add line items with labor and parts, the job address, notes, before-and-after photographs, and a discount the owner has set up, such as a senior discount. Sales tax for the job’s state is added for you, and the PDF invoice includes your plumbing business letterhead.
Yes. Every new business gets 7 days free when it chooses Solo Plumber or Small Team. Google Play or the App Store runs the free trial, once per account, and you are not charged if you cancel before it ends.
Solo Plumber is $19.99 a month or $199.99 a year. Small Team, for up to 5 people, is $49.99 a month or $499.99 a year. Yearly plans are about two months free. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your Google Play or App Store account settings; you keep the plan until the period you paid for ends.
An existing PlumbPaid plumber shares their referral code with another plumbing business. The new business enters that code before confirming its subscription, and the app shows the eligible introductory price for the first month or first year before purchase. The 7-day trial, subscription charge, and renewal are still handled by Google Play or the App Store. After the introductory billing period, the subscription renews at the normal listed price unless the app shows a different offer. A referral changes only the eligible subscription price; it does not change Stripe’s processing fees or PlumbPaid’s 0.5% platform fee. The currently published referral offer gives the referred business the displayed introductory saving and does not promise cash or account credit to the referring plumber. A code cannot be applied retroactively to a subscription purchase that has already been completed.
The customer can physically tap a contactless card, phone, or compatible watch against your supported phone; you can enter card details on Stripe’s secure page; you can send a Pay Invoice link; or you can record cash or check.
On the Small Team plan, yes. Only the company owner can, in Settings under Who can collect payments, let a named coworker collect on the unpaid invoices of a specific plumber. Both names appear on the invoice when that coworker collects payment: “Work by” and “Payment Collected by.” The invoice number stays the same, and the money goes to the company’s one connected Stripe account.
No. Plumbers see their own invoices, plus those of anyone the owner has let them collect for. The company owner sees every invoice.
For U.S. Stripe accounts on standard pricing, Stripe’s fee depends on whether the customer taps your phone or pays through a link. The PlumbPaid platform fee is 0.5% of each card payment on top - $1.50 on a $300 job. It covers taking card payments through PlumbPaid: Tap to Pay on your phone, payment links, invoices marked paid automatically, double-charge protection, receipts and refund tracking. Cash and check carry no fee, and a refund returns it. See the rates and examples.
No separate reader is needed on a supported iPhone or Android phone. Tap to Pay availability depends on your device and Stripe requirements.
Keep entering applicable work while offline in a basement, attic, or underground space. PlumbPaid synchronizes that work when your connection returns. Electronic payments through Stripe are completed when connectivity is available.
Yes. Once the payment is settled, PlumbPaid automatically sends the customer a receipt, whether they paid electronically, by cash, or by check.
Card payments are processed by Stripe and settle into the plumbing business’s connected Stripe account. PlumbPaid does not hold customer funds or store full card details.
PlumbPaid adds sales tax to each invoice for the state where the job is, using the labor and parts rates the owner enters in Settings. The business remains responsible for using the right rates, and for reporting and paying the tax it collects to the state. PlumbPaid does not file or pay taxes for you.
Yes. The owner can export every invoice to a CSV spreadsheet and print a summary of all invoices from Settings.
Only the company owner can delete it, in Settings with Delete my account. The owner chooses whether to delete only their own invoices or all of the company’s, then confirms with their password. Staff members cannot delete the company account.
The company owner removes the departing plumber’s staff access and registered devices. Their access is revoked, and PlumbPaid signs them out and erases locally stored company data from those devices when the app next connects. The company’s customers, jobs, invoices, photographs, and payment history remain with the company; removing a plumber does not delete the business records they created or worked on. Files that the plumber previously exported or saved outside PlumbPaid cannot be erased remotely, so the company should recover and wipe a company-owned device and require a departing plumber to remove company files from a personal device under the company’s own security policy. The former plumber may contact support about removal of their individual login or personal data without deleting the company’s records.
